LVC Names Steve Schuetz Vice President of Enrollment Management
Schuetz brings extensive higher education experience in his return to The Valley.
Dr. James M. MacLaren, President of Lebanon Valley College, announced that Steve Schuetz will return to LVC as Vice President of Enrollment Management on March 2. Schuetz had served as Interim VP during the 2014-15 academic year. He brings over three decades of knowledge in enrollment, college counseling, student services, student success and retention, and financial aid. He assumes the role following the retirement of Edwin Wright, who led the College’s undergraduate admission during a time of record enrollments.
“I am delighted to welcome Steve Schuetz to The Valley as our new Vice President of Enrollment Management,” said MacLaren. “Steve brings a deep knowledge and breadth of experience in the challenging landscape of enrollment management and is known as a strategic and effective collaborator. The LVC community is excited to welcome him back.”
Schuetz is a highly experienced enrollment leader who has built and implemented comprehensive enrollment strategies at a range of institutions through his work with The Registry, where he served in senior interim roles across the country. He brings a strong track record in enrollment strategy, cross-campus collaboration, and team leadership.
“I’m thrilled to return to The Valley as Vice President for Enrollment Management and build on the College’s strong momentum,” said Schuetz. “I look forward to working with campus partners to address the marketplace headwinds in ways that sustain enrollment, support students, and strengthen the College’s future.”
Schuetz, Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management at Salem State University in Massachusetts, earned a bachelor’s in communications from the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point. He later earned an M.S. in Management from the University of Maryland Global Campus.
In addition to The Registry, Schuetz was Director of Financial Aid at Edgewood University, then Director of Financial Aid, promoted to Vice President for Admission and Financial Aid at Ripon College, and later to Vice President for Enrollment at Concordia College. He served as a project manager at Huron Consulting Group, advising schools such as the University of Wyoming, Kansas State University, and Wheaton College (Mass.), and at CampusWorks Inc.
